Our school is in Tianmu, an area located in Shilin District, Taipei. During the Japanese Occupation Period, Sanjiaopu was the local name. Tianmu was only the name of a small place within the borders, and the name is still used today despite the changes in times. Tianmu area has a strong exotic atmosphere and diversified international styles and features. In addition, residents here have strong community awareness and pay attention to their quality of life, which creates the unique cultural environment of the Tianmu area. Local businesses also often hold characteristic festivals together with residents, which has attracted many tourists. What’s more, recently, many friendly public facilities have been built, such as restaurants for pets, pet-friendly parks, and inclusive playgrounds.
